A good cop story in the UT on the bball schedule and season tickets (props to the SID and co. for getting this story out), states the following: The nonconference road schedule is also being finalized, with confirmed games at Gonzaga, California and a four-team event at Miami (Ohio ) in late November. SDSU is believed to be talking with two or three other Pac-10 teams about games at home and on the road.www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/jul/02/sdsu-season-ticket-sales-begin/Someone had mentioned Gonzaga, but I hadn't seen it elsewhere, anybody have a link, and most notably, is it a home and home?

Also, I would guess the bball tourney sdsu has been replaced with the one at Miami of Ohio?

Gonzaga better be a home and home. I'm not sure it is LA. I hear it is a special game made for ESPN.

I'm not sure it is LA. I hear it is a special game made for ESPN. Every game that involves the Aztecs is special. And this one will divide my family for a few days. Of our huge college basketball fans, it will be 3 pulling for the Aztecs (one in secret) and three HUGE die hards pulling for Gonzaga. Hopefully the family will get thru it.

Nice.
LBF can show Gonzaga what they missed out on.

This schedule is telling me that Fish fully anticipates making March Madness, and with wins and losses against a much tougher OOC schedule this season, he wants to make his team tourney-tough so that he can finally break through on an NCAA run ("return and advance").

Pretty disappointing really, it looked like we may be getting a 4 team - 3 day tournament here in San Diego and instead we are going to play in a 4 team tournament in Ohio!

Guys we could not get home games when Don was here. Money will not get them. They have more money then us. But they do not want to lose. In the old days we were not part of a good league. We get good home games from our league. That is just the way it works. There is not much we can do about it. We tried everything to get good football games. That is why it broke my heart to give up the big football games like Ohio State, Colorado and Arizona. We Don had his worst season we sign up Arizona and a few others. We need to sign up home games this year because we will not get them when we start to win. That is why MI is paying us a million dollars. The big boys don't need no stinking million dollars. They also don't need a loss either. We need 6 wins and can't risk playing the big boys to much at this time any way.
