More and more people are coming to this conclusion. Will there be enough to elect someone better qualified? There are so many people now who are fine with the rob the rich to pay the poor that it is still problematic no matter how exposed Obama becomes.

I am always against having legislators as President. Ex-governors of large states is the best option. Preferably one that came into that position from an extensive business background. Mitt Romny comes to mind. He knows what it means to get good people and manage them. That is not something someone can learn on the job at the top level. BHO would have been well served to get an appointment as the head of a government agency, for instance. But only if he severed under a President who managed him and showed him how to lead people, set goals, manage results. He needs to practice those skills. That way he would only screw up one department instead of learning on the country at large. The oil spill in the gulf really bears out the difference between a leader and a hack. I work for a guy who would have managed that much much better. You don't have to know anything about the issue to manage folks who do. But you do have to know how to manage people, projects, and set goals and metrics for success.
I hope we never again hire a legislator to do a managers job again.
