Right now, it does not look good for the rest of the season, BUT we will find out where we sit after we have played the Rockies in about six games both here and there.

I just don't think we have the offense. I predicted 80-82, and I am sticking to that for now. It would help alot if Latos stays healthy to make 25-30 starts, and pitches well. Harang has been a pleasant surprise, who has so far exceeded expectations. Same for Moseley.
I noticed that LeBlanc was recalled today. Hopefully he throws well. If we can continue to get good starting pitching, with the great 'pen, the Pads can make it an interesting summer. But hitting .217 as a team, and being in the bottom 1/3 of runs scored, isn't going to help. Obviously the batting average will increase, but I think SD will continue to struggle to score runs. Ludwick and Hawpe blow big time......I like Maybin so far, but he does strike out a ton. Bud needs to let him run a bit more, he got 3 steals in one game, but only 4 on the season.

With the lineup the Pads are throwing out there this season, any day they're not in last (such as right now) is a miracle...

While you guys are correct on all of your points the hitting has to pick up, these guys are not career sub .200 hitters and there is about 4 or 5 guys hitting below .200. They will eventually get the bats going so they can finish the season as .220 to .260 hitters

They are also leading baseball in scoring during the month of May. That is with 14 teams batting a DH instead of a pitcher.
