Just curious to see if any of you out there would be excited for San Diego to land a MLS team. I'm all for it.

Hell no....I hate all games in a shoot out soccer. The game is so damn boring. Where they going to play, Southwestern College?

Soccer is for the rest of the world. Oh, and Uconn fans.

Thats what San Diego needs. Another sports franchise no one gives a $#!+ about.

I can't imagine watching an Aztec Basketball game and then going to a soccer game! BORING!

Just curious to see if any of you out there would be excited for San Diego to land a MLS team. I'm all for it. I wouldn't. I've never really been interested in soccer. I'd be more interested in NHL or NBA here but neither will ever happen as long as the people of this city keep acting like its still the little town it was back in the 50s. Along those lines, I'm definitely not interested in minor league anything here in SD. I do enjoy going up to Elsinore for an occasional looksee at the Pads prospects. The 7th or 8th largest city in the US should be embarrassed with our arena and stadium situations and never have a minor league team.

I would if I lived back in SD.
Don't take what these oldtimers as what the majority of San Diegans think about soccer.
The thing about soccer is that it has to be done right. Grass roots is the way to go.
Checkout SD Boca FC and San Diego Flash. They are trying the bottom up approach (starting in NPSL and looking to get into USL Pro in the next few years).
