Ugh. Lost in all the discussion will be the plight of the victim.
So... on to what we care about. How many games suspension? 10? Full semester? Dismissed from season?

wow .. this could be huge, but probably not. I imagine this ends up similar to another player who stole a TV. I would guess this entire thing is over before the season starts and charges are dropped and he doesn't miss a game. I would assume because it happened at 3 AM, a bit of alcohol was involved and every one will calm down (payed off) and it will amount to probation or charges dropped.
I would think this also scares a few nba teams away from him.
Felony grand larceny for taking his girlfriends phone?

I would hope he would be dismissed from the team. That is pretty damn serious! Unfortunately, he will only get a couple of game suspension. While Jerome Habel from SDSU several years back got kicked of the team for doing the same. Two different coaches and Lon will take the NBA approach to disciplining this kid. |

Just got back from Vegas. Tre'Von is featured on a huge billboard in front of Thomas & Mack. He's the 2010 face of the Rebels...or at least he was.

Was Zo Wade ever accused of laying a finger on that woman much less trying to strangle her? Not only that but he copped a plea so we never learned whether his story may have been true that he believed the TV was his and asked for it back but the victim refused to return it. Certainly the fact the D.A. allowed him to plead out suggests there was at least some validity to his side of the story. Look, I'm not trying to excuse Wade's actions but he was never accused of anything remotely as serious as what Willis is accused of. |
