And the only time I tried using a step-ladder, the camel kicked it over and damn near broke my neck. Too dangerous. ;D |

That is now the official birth certificate for the state of Hawaii. At one time the state converted a lot of them because they contained personal information that need not be a matter of public record. There is no longer a need for an attending physician to sign the document. The information in that case only needs to be provided by the hospital to the office that records births. MY attending physician in 1948 was my mother's father. He signed it, but what purpose does it meet? His signature has no more validity than that of the black janitor who came in and swept the room just as I was being born. My mother had no concern about the janitor seeing her snatch, as it was not snatching at the time. It was expelling and that was her only concern. |
