Bummer. He had the makings of being another Nate Davis for Coach Hoke. Now it looks like he could be another Brian Johnson for Utah.

Quite true, but I'm wondering if it may be easier next year when Lindley has only a year left. Kid comes in, redshirts and then competes for a starting spot as an RS Frosh. For the time being, at least, one of the best things we have to offer is an early chance at PT. OTOH, are we really convinced that none of the young QBs on the roster can cut it? =Bob |

You need to sell a good O-line to protect an incoming QB recruit along with the program. I guess Hoke and Co. have faith in our O-line next season? Enough to promote it? Oldie Out |

This is why our upcoming season is so important. Hoke needs a bowl appearance, and hopefully a win to convince the recruits we're on our way up. All hat and no cattle, ain't gonna do it.
