Most of the folks who formerly supported Obummer are starting to wake up. xrl.us/bhp3pvThe chairman of the Business Roundtable, an association of top corporate executives that has been President Obama's closest ally in the business community, accused the president and Democratic lawmakers Tuesday of creating an "increasingly hostile environment for investment and job creation."

The real question is this: Why did these supposedly bright business leaders fail to recognize that (A) there was nothing in Obama's background that gave confidence that he knew anything about running a business and (B) that he was most likely very comfortable with the hostility toward private business that infects much if not most of the influential forces backing the Democratic Party?
They have nobody to blame but themselves. Now it may be too late to do much about it. Only if the Republicans win the House in November, come close in the Senate (meaning reaching 47 or more more seats), and win the presidency in 2012 is there a chance that this extraordinary increase in the power and reach the federal government can be reversed.

What caused them to 'go over the edge'?
OMG - Trying to give shareholders (the owners) more of a say in the running of the corporation and attempting to keep jobs here in the U.S. What the hell is wrong with that?

I have not looked into the proposal that would make it possible to have shareholders appoint board members. I do know that you can keep jobs here by not taxing companies to the point they move operations elsewhere.

Most of the folks who formerly supported Obummer are starting to wake up. That is the real question, why these idiots would vote for someone who was not qualified to be president?

Please provide a link to prove your contention. "Most" means a majority. So, a majority of the people who voted for the President no longer support him? I conducted a very simple poll and asked 10 people I know who voted for Obama if they were sorry they did so. Not one said they were. You continually use "Most people" when referring to those dissatified with the president. Unless you can quantify this, I call bull$#!+.

Yup! You are absolutely correct about the intellectual level of our respective groups of friends. My friends can actually think for themselves. They have opinions that vary from conservative to liberal depending upon the issue. They can actually articulate their OWN opinions instead of just parroting what they have heard on talk radio. ;D Your friends, on the other hand, blindly follow the postulations of Rush, Colter, Beck, etc. Your friends proudly call themselves "Ditto Heads".

Oh! Brother! Ignore the "circle of friends" idea, and just tell me what it is about Obama and the malaise that he has let us drop into by unsustainable spending that you like. Not a single member of the G20 liked what Obama has done to the world economy as a side effect of ruining ours. You have got to be on here just for the exercise. You make no sense.

Obama is in way over his head and it is getting worse. More folks are catching on and having buyer's remorse. Only the real dullards are still in the Obama camp.
