Do any of the incoming JC kids who were not enrolled for spring ball appear? I think we will see his name when fall camp opens.

I understand when one JC does not show up in February, but all of them?

Do any of the incoming JC kids who were not enrolled for spring ball appear? I think we will see his name when fall camp opens. As AztecAlum mentioned a few weeks ago, it's apparent he has earned his AA degree. It has been apparent for months that he accepted a scholarship to SDSU contingent on obtaining his AA. Therefore, is there any reason whatsoever to think he won't be on the team? If not, is there any reason why he's not already listed on the roster? I guess the same could be said for the other JC kids, although somebody like Deonte Williams who has already attended a 4-year school presumably didn't need to get his AA to be able to transfer. Maybe I just haven't followed it so closely in the past but I just can't recall it taking this long in the past to have confirmation from SDSU of these kids' eligibility. And I therefore wonder whether the Ronnie Hillman thing isn't involved in the sense that the coaching staff has now become concerned about just assuming that the admissions office won't put an unexpected roadblock in their way. |

that he has his AA degree, that he signed, that it says SDSU bound, all points towards really good things after his name appearing no where on the 3 deep after spring ball

You cannot count on a JC kid until he is actually on the field, no matter what anyone says or what list he's on. You can't even count on them when they are enrolled in the Spring. It only counts in the fall. Having said that I agree with SGF that this is odd. The Fred Noonan School of Navigation.  |

Perez is already here. he has been working out with the team for the past few weeks, as well as ALL the other JC kids..yes ALL of them and thats a 100% fact, so just stop questioning it.
And most of the freshman have already joined the team as well.

I can't remember the last time an Aztec kicker kicked one to the back of the end-zone. How about this - last year we had 56 kickoffs and 2 touchbacks (a couple of players must have miss-played the ball) |

And since you assure us these guys have in fact been admitted to SDSU, maybe you could pass along the information - diplomatically, of course - that said person isn't exactly keeping up with his or her work. (Sorry to sound pissy but the inability of my alma mater's athletic department to get even such mundane things right never ceases to amaze.) |
