Oh, please, win, try harder. There are 500 more wells drilled than last year ON LAND, that is the issue.

I don't see how that shoots anything down. If you can show me where we are drilling where we know there is oil like ANWAR then you would have a point. Drilling is up, but is it where oil is? We all know the GW Bush was a piss poor oilman, but I bet even he could find oil if he got 500 chances. You know as well as I do, win, that the majority of these wells are being drilled on producing propertys. I have not researched that, it just comes from reading about the oil industry, having relatives with mineral rights, and clients that own oil wells. If you would like to research where those new wells are and prove me wrong, please do so. |

BP is drilling where the oil is... approx. 2.5 billion barrels in 4 reservoirs. I bet they cried when they were "forced" into deep water by the enviro wackos and the US Government.... more like "now that's what I'm talkin about"!! Sounds like a bunch of other countries are lined up right behind em in deep water. How about no more deep water permits till they stop this leak?..... I know that won't happen, but some experts in the filed say that the entire reservoir could bleed out before its done.... yea, drilling in ANWAR will solve the larger problem.  |
