ESPN has Leonard tabbed as a mid to late first rounder next season.

I think he is under-rated in this ranking since the NBA usually drafts more on potential and does not care as much about current flaws in the game. Still I hope Kawhi sticks around until his Junior season, but I doubt it.

Kawhi better be careful though ....
Strengths: Long and lean small forward possessing a 'smooth' game ... His wingspan is incredible and he seemingly gets his paws on every ball ... Prolific rebounder. Particularly innate offensive rebounder (3 per game) ... Grabs boards outside of his area. Quick off his feet and anticipates caroms extremely well. Breaks for the ball before anyone else on the court
The attached info sounds very similar to Leonard, however it is actually for Devin Ebanks 6'8 SF (West Virginia) who came out after his soph year loaded with potential after averaging 12 and 8 in the Big East. (But he only shot 10% from 3!)
Ebanks was projected in every mock draft to go in the 1st round ... yet he fell to mid 2nd round and will now struggle to make a loaded Lakers roster.

NBA is looking for game changers. Kwahi is a game changer and Ebanks is not. Yes, Ebanks played in the Big East, so did Scottie Reynolds, Luke Harongody and etc... Still, Ebanks has a chance to make the Lakers squad.
Bottomline, anybody can get drafted to the NBA! Its all about being in the right place, at the right time, HYPE and playing on the big stage. Paul George from Fresno State? Luke Babbitt from Nevada Reno? Both players have one thing in common, they can shoot the basketball! My recommendation to Kwahi is to work on his shot! Like rebounding is a premium in the NBA, so is shooting the basketball!
