Funny. Conservatives complain about the long term deficit. Understandable. Democratic leadership wants to address that issue before passing a budget. Conservatives complain that the Democrats are addressing the long term deficit issue. Typical.  |

Lead, follow or get out of the way. Letting non-elected people set the budget priorities for the US and, more realistically, using that group's activity as an excuse to abdicate mandated responsibilities all in an effort to avoid putting information on the street that would hurt their chances at the polls is not leadership. And it shows.

What was PNAC? or closed door, locked-down energy cartel meetings. Seriously hate the game, not the player. I don't want think tanks on either partisan side deciding agendas, but why don't we hold everyone's coal to the fire. Too many democratic supporters blasted bush for doing the same things Obama is doing and vice-versa.
