Good for them. As a group, women tend to be more moderate and less welded to the extreme. I also sincerely doubt that Palin had much influence on the likes of Meg and Carly. They think she is a joke.

They think Palin is a joke? You base this on what? Now I doubt that Palin can ever be a viable candidate for anything, but she is a real catalyst for Conservative women and an inspiration in my view.

Also, everyone agrees that Angle and Haley benefited from Palin's endorsement. Knowing the tendencies of the Democrats, look for Florida's Marco Rubio to be the next victim of "no member of a disadvantaged class need apply" shark attack that Palin received.

Win... I have 4 close friends who are "right wingers", and they all think Palin is a joke. Of course compared to some on here, they might be considered "moderate". Funny how "moderates" don't exist in most political conversations...there is the far Left and the far Right... I like Palin for entertainment value. How bout a Palin / Bachman ticket for 2012?

Palin will be to GOP Women in national politics as was Curt Flood to baseball's free agency. She was injected before her time and beaten down by a very fearful, elitist establishment. She won't win anything again (other than perhaps a primary or two or to take back the corruptly stolen Alaska Senate seat in 2014).
One thing is that the left won't be able to do as easily next time is the "she is too dumb" play with some other woman GOP Pres or VP candidate, especially with their support for the bag of rocks Nancy Pelosi in their recent history (kinda like an inability to blast people for jokes on pubic hairs after the Clinton WH). If intellect is really the issue, how can anyone support Nancy and Plugs the Plagiarist without being a blatant hypocrite in that regard?
She is getting a bit more savvy (see the obvious results) and she is getting some pay-back now regardless of people's pseudo-intellectual inability to acknowledge it however. Good for her.

Palin/Bachman would not be a very good ticket unless your only hurdle was to beat Obama/Biden. They are both pretty rock solid as far as policy is concerned, but have been vilified to the point that they could not win much of anything except against Obama/Biden or people like that.

Carly benefited from Palin's endorsement. Okay, fine I won't argue that. But... it means the GOP have again nominated the one person whom Boxer can defeat in November. Again. For the THIRD time. The GOP trots out the decent candidates against Feinstein, and predictably loses. Then nominates whack-jobs to face Boxer. Come on, 70% of California voters would LOVE to vote Boxer out of office... until they see who she's running against. Then Boxer wins re-election. Again. Yup, Carly benefited... and California lost. GOP should have nominated Tom Campbell. Period.
