I have us at 5 in conf. at the lowest......Why?
We have the players now and they have experience. No, not top 25 type players, but upper class men that can play.
We also have a very good staff. IMO, the best staff we have had at San Diego State since 1977.
I really think this is the season that we have been waiting for. Thhe one that shows we have turned the corner.

Dang it! If you guys are gonna get us...this is the year to do it!
It's hard to know where to place my Cougs. The last time they had a new QB, new RB, etc...was in 2007, and they did awesome.
1) TCU
2) Utah
3) BYU
4) AFA
5) SDSU
6) Wyo
7) CSU
8) UNLV
9) UNM

AFA is too high. They lose all their starting OL, and some of those players were pretty good. Switch byu and AFA IMO |

I expect closer games against higher tier teams. No easy losses. A victory would be a bonus.
BYU got a good scare from us last season...and we will be better this year.

For right now I'm thinking 2-2 and 2-6 for a 4-7 overall. That's without having seen or heard about a practice lately though. Hopefully I'll be able to revise upward closer to the season. 2+6= 8 |
