www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-build6-20110306,0,4909175.story I had three reactions to this microcosm of liberal stupidity: As an Engineer, watching a bunch of bureaucrats and educators attempt to solve technical problems within the constraints of the problem they are attempting to solve is always funny and entertaining. As a taxpayer, I want to drive up to LA and kick this idiot in the balls. As a conservative I find confirmation in my beliefs watching liberals throw taxpayer money down the porcelain fixture in their attempt to solve a problem that doesn't exist (Da' GLOBAL WARMENING) with old technology that doesn't work (Solar panels and windmills). Windmills? Really? Windmills? Why not a waterwheel in the LA river? What not whale oil burning lamps in the classroom? Windmills? In LA? And of course the whole sick, sad, disgusting episode only occurs because the community college district wanted to get their greedy little hands on all of the "free" money being offered by the libtards in DC and Sacktown. Vote Republican

Some of the things that are tried and fail at tax payer expense would not be even seriously considered if our own money in our own hands was at risk.
My belief is that solar panels will some day make sense on their own merit. We will not need to have any kind of tax incentive to get us to put up panels and hook up to the grid. When ever I look at these proposals, I look for the tax incentive to see if it makes sense on it's own.
Liberals have no problem spending other peoples money.

afan, you colossal ignoramus of all things scientific, Global Warming is a reality.
It is happening and is directly related to CO2 emissions in the atmosphere. The world is in serious trouble and it is low IQ idiots like you who have made the mess that we currently don't know what to do about.
All we know is that countless millions are going to die in the next few years, and it will all be YOUR fault. I am going to recommend that they come for you and do with you as they please. It will be funny as hell watching you try to deny it. THEY will not believe you as anything I say will hold sway with the public.
Dude, you are doomed.
