Can anyone on this board clearly articulate the metric for the MWC to gain automatic entry to the BCS in less than one paragraph? I realize if you're Fed/State/Local Gov.....that's an impossibility.

BCS won't say. So no. No one can articulate it in any length.

They need to sue and get the California legislators involved. Where are Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein? We may have to vote for a male if they won't take this up on our behalf. ;D

Assuming Boise finishes in the top 5 this year, the MWC looks like it will need two other teams to crack the top 25 to get an AQ to the BCS in 2012. So that probably means BYU and TCU must crack the top 25 but a win over Missouri and/or Michigan by SDSU would certainly help the cause. The plus 25% adjustment for conferences with 9 or fewer teams gives the MWC a leg up in joining the BCS. That's the real reason why the MWC won't expand until the BCS AQ for 2012 is determined. However, once the MWC gains AQ status, Houston and Fresno should be added and maybe Reno. www.bcsevolution.com/2010/4/23/1438259/the-bcs-releases-the-conference-aq
