Obama is on the doorstep of being fully converted. He ran as a Left Wing Lunatic. But to insure his re-election, he will do practically anything. Including taking the US into a third war in the Middle East. Run Barry Run!

Wouldn't it be nice if we could drill for our own oil in Idaho, Wyoming and Alaska. This third world reliance is sooooo old.

When we do, we will be in the driver's seat.

New drilling in the Gulf of Mexico has been stopped by Jimmy Jr. in defiance of a court order. From the halls of Montezuma, to the Shores of Tripoli! Tripoli here we come. Bring it on!!!!!

I got your Lockerbie right here Gadhafi. Well first, we get no oil from Libya - it mostly goes to Europe with some going to China. Second, the feds approved a new Gulf contract last week. It's taken then 9 months to do it but given BP's and Haliburton's incompetence, that shouldn't be surprising. Third, the Brits, not Obama, decided to release the one guy tied to the Lockerbie bombing. And lastly, we're already engaged in two wars started by Bush, one of which I consider justifiable. How many North African Countries would you like us to invade and how much of our national treasure would you like to spend doing it? =Bob

The entire problem with oil is with the commodity brokers who drive up the price every time they see an opening to do so. I suppose that's the capitalist way, but that way is often detrimental to our nation's interests. =Bob

However, the Global Oil Supply situation is viewed as a "Basket". Not regional, and thus, speculators take a advantage of the situation to bid prices higher. And no, I do not want to go to war anywhere, just being sarcastic. Let the French Leads the new Crusades.

My response went to the statement that drilling here would somehow screw Qaddafi, which is nonsense because all it would do would be to cut into his income a bit and my guess is he's got billions stashed in Swiss banks. Please don't attempt to intimidate with your supposed understanding of economics by offering your ignorance on international affairs. =Bob
