Sterk is right. As far as football goes,a nd that is what counts for BCS qualification, we are stronger than we were a week ago. Jim, your brother-in-law says you are a Polyanna. Is that true? ;D |

For football, he's not been satisfactory, so I can't give him a C. I'd say C- or D+. After all, he did pull the trigger on Craft and Long and didn't wait a decade to do so. Now that I think about it, you're correct. If it was up to Schemmel, Chuck Long would have been back in 2009 so I have to credit Weber with having the smarts and pragmatism to overrule his subordinate manager on that one. I also think in hindsight that he deserves props for replacing Schemmel in hitting the road to interview some of the primary candidates to replace Chuck. I'll therefore change the grade to D+. (If word I've heard is correct, Craft's firing was a mutual decision of everybody and anybody who could possibly have had any input into it.) |

In probably every other area of responsibility for him, the guy's performance deserves close to an A grade. However, with regard to football, it deserves close to an F. I'd give him a B- for academics (he needs to understand that image is more important than reality). Until you understand why this is incorrect, it will always be your downfall. =Bob |

Frustarted Fan- He is right ! I keep thinking that with all the crap we have put up through the years Karma will insure that we have many years of greatAztec teams...I just hope we aren't dead before it starts to happen.

i like Weber, he is a nice guy, always says hi...yet i suspect he is from that Generation that teaches you have to be positive about everything no matter what the situation, blah blah.. im not part of that generation.

What the hell does that mean? Brotha if you are this disgruntled take up another activity where things are just easy. Go be a Yankees fan or a Pats fan. Nothing in life that is worth a damn is easily obtained. |

San Diego laid back attitude needs to go if you want to save Aztec Sports....if you believe we deserve to play and compete with the best. yes sports and school loyalty are one small factor in life. so wtf lets hit the beach. |

We just don't give up. i'll be interested in continuing if one of three things happen: 1. We are in an autobid - BCS conference in 2012 2. There is active talk from the MWC execs of a lawsuit 3. California State legislature decides that all D-1 sports revenue must be shared between all D-1 participating California funded institutions. |
