Utah Is Doing What We Would Do

I understand that there are many of you who are upset over the Utes getting Million Dollar call

from the PAC 10, soon to be 12. But, lets just keep our heads, and think about it a minute.

What do you think We at San Diego State would do if we ever got the call? We would leave

in a New York minute I'm sure, and we wouldn't need our trustees, AD, President, or anyone to

take time to discuss it. Something like that we have been begging for since the Coryell days!

I am not surprized that Utah got the call, and will most likely accept Jun. 17 (officially), and

you can't be too upset at that. They have been making a name for themselves the past 6

years with their two big win in the BCS Bowls. If, they do well in the conference especially

many sports it will only show the BCS dolts how good the teams from the MWC really are.

Then it could be a door opener for other teams (like Us eventually) to join in the BCS.

I wish them well, and hope that we will grow under Hoke to be able to make it like Utah has.

Crying and hating them, and what has happened will not help us, right Our day will

come.

That is what makes the last 10 years of inept SDSU Administration and Football even harder to swallow. Can you imagine if SDSU would have hired Urban Meyer or even Jeff Tedford. Who knows where SDSU might be today.If SDSU had the resume of Utah the PAC 10 might have been interested in SDSU too. I know, don't look back but the last decade of SDSU football has been a Cluster F and it cost us.

Same place we are because the UC schools will never accept a CSU school as being on the same level and Pac Norwest schools would never care to compete with us for recruits.
