The whole neighborhood came out...even the delusional guy on the corner...he was cussing up a storm about "another ^$*%@*ing earthquake...son of a ^$(*^(@*...mother ($&($*&$ earthquake...."

Made for quite the interesting shower out here in Brawley... Looks like the youngest will be sleeping downstairs tonight; she don't like the rockin' and rolling.

It wasn't much here. I kept on typing a post online while my monitor shook.
It was like most earthquakes for me, a case of, "Is that it, or is it going to get serious?" I'm always waiting for the real shaking to start, and when it doesn't I'm happy.

Sort of gentle here, if a quake can ever be called gentle. Bed was rocking, windows rattling just a bit. Fun times.

The dog stopped walking momentarily and looking around appearing scared but only for about 3 seconds, then continued on with our walk. Got home to my panicking mother who is here visiting from Hawai'i.

I felt it good laying in bed. It was like someone put a quarter in the slot. Earthquakes are fun, IMO.

Where we live in Fallbrook I must truck our trash two-tenths of a mile out to the main road. Seems I forgot a few items and decided to walk them up there later. When I got back, my wife was in front of the house asking me if I had felt the quake. Well, I hadn't. For some reason I did not feel it when on foot.

AzWm About 3 or 4 weeks ago there was an aftershock while I was at work. Our field supervisor and one of our volunteers were leaning on their cars and felt it. At the time, I was walking toward them and didn't feel a thing. Being inside a structure or leaning onto a structure (or a car, I guess), causes more of a feeling than being on the ground. I think I read somewhere that a quake has to get into the 7 point range before you can feel it when you're driving and most likely it's a bit less than that, but maybe not much, when you're walking. =Bob

At least I wasn't sitting on the John for this one! I was surfing the web (including Aztec Talk/Mesa).
