The Padres finished the season last year 37-35. The Padres started the season this year 37-25. Which 37-25 record do you think got the most notice? Let's hope this year isn't last year in reverse

It sadly could be, without a bat in this line-up!

This team needs a OF that can protect Adrian and play some defense, I think Hoyer will get it done, there is still plenty of time for teams to get out of the race that think they are in it, for in stance in a month Blue Jays will be selling when they thought a month ago they had a chance to stay with Tampa, NYY, and Boston

We need Adrian to stay, and another bat or this is going to fall away quickly. Both LA and SF are only a .5 game back!

We need Adrian to stay, and another bat or this is going to fall away quickly. Both LA and SF are only a .5 game back! You know two 37-25s makes 74-50. Do those numbers not speak to you? The Padres are winning. Adding a bat would be great but they are winning and there is no reason to think they won't continue win. If not having another bat is such a deterrent to winning they wouldn't have been 74-50 over a 124 games.
