Okay, okay, that title is pure sensationalism. It's inaccurate, as well. The suggestion is that the Corp. for Public Broadcasting can and should do without federal funding eventually. Eventually here means a phase out period of a very few years.
This suggestion comes form someone who is at least moderately to the left and, in addition, a huge PBS fan. This is a sensible idea carefully thought out. Or so it seems to me.
