Not at all. Especially if we gain AQ and start winning. All things being equal, where would you want to play? San Diego? Lubbock? Stillwater?

We have a good coaching staff for the first time in a long, long time. Just give them a couple more years and we may even steal a few of USuCks former recruits. Just win a damn bowl game please.

The best players have left here forever, so this changes nothing. What does change the game is gaining BCS auto bid status, which might happen now. That means kids might stay home.

not to mention that USC may not get the highest quality recruits for a couple years (being on probation/bowl ban). We will be sitting pretty, if we make some real progress in the next 2 seasons.
lets go Hoke!

Let's see how many of the sanctions against U$C stand up on appeal. Hang in there, Matt

As example (no facts to back up so don't ask) Current Athletic budget = 3 million Become an AQ = add 3-6 million to the budget, and the biggest difference is that that extra money can be budgeted. Currently, they can't really budget for the likes of Utah or TCU making a BCS game, so the $ probably gets used to offset the debt.

Let's see how many of the sanctions against U$C stand up on appeal. Hang in there, Matt The sanctions will hold up. The NCAA revised its appeal process, so now just about the only chance Troy has is to prove that the penalty is excessive, and doesn't fit the crime. We have to remember hat USC went on probation in 2001 for lack of Inst. control. Strike 2
