Yeah, but the point made at the end sums it up. Sproles won't be back. Expect them to pick up a speedy WR to play some 4th or 5th WR and return kicks, probably around the third round.

Additionally, Sproles will be 28 before the start of 2011 season. No way, Bolts give him a long term deal in range of $5 million/year. Two years ago, he declined a deal pretty close but now he is that much closer to the proverbial 30 year old NFL RB "wall"...............which by the way comes sooner for the smaller RB's.
LOVE to see him stay a Charger but in a salary cap era, how do you justify giving him starting RB salary?

The guy had very minimal impact this season. He's not worth the salary.

I guess running back depth is something the Chargers are going to need to address. You need 2 or 3 good ones to win in the NFL. Perhaps this will be the 2nd or 3rd round pick for SD.
