I understand there is a national roll out for the mtn. channel on Comcast for 2011. I hope it all takes place during this basketball season. Our conference is getting some media attention with Jimmer and our team. With the MTN being available for those who are curious about our teams, then this roll out will be a very good thing. Too bad it's not in HD though.

I am still not moving back! I have finally got all the moss scraped off my north side. (That would be my rear since I always stand facing San Diego. )

I just switched from Directv to Comcast in Michigan. The Mtn. is available on the sports tier, VS. and CBSCS are part of the standard package. I really liked Directv's sports programming and the DVR was top-notch but I got sick of their bs, poor customer service and exceedingly high price just to have the Mtn. Plus now I've got all my services (phone, internet and now t.v.) bundled for a pretty low price overall.

Go to Comcast-Xfinity web site and go to the live chat box. You will enter in your contact info and then a customer service rep will reply. Much better then hanging on the phone forever.

Just got off the chat with Comcast and they will be launching the MTN in Northern CA Sacramento in March or April! They are looking at most of California as soon as they can negotiate with other cable systems.

I just got this from Comcast regarding The Mtn in the Bay Area....any other source that has better info?
"Thank you for contacting the Comcast Office of Rick Germano, Senior Vice President of Customer Operations regarding Mtn Network being added to the sports package. My name is Michelle and I would be happy to assist you today. Unfortunately at this time I do not see that Comcast will be adding the Mtn Network to the Sports package as of yet. I am sure that in the future the Network will be added however we do not have a time frame. If you have any questions or concerns please reply to this e-mail. Thank you for contacting Comcast. Sincerely, Michelle Pedersen Office of Rick Germano
