lame? your kidding right? for as much as the big voters hate us because we are a "small" conference school..even though i dont agree with that. BUt thats just how they see, but for us to drop only 3 spots after a loss is amazing. I was expecting us to drop out of the top10 just for the fact that voters have been waiting for us to lose and they dont think we deserve a top 10 ranking.

we're going to take a beating in the AP if someone that bullish on us gives us the hammer, imagine what little sethy davis and the other duke/no. carolina'ers are going to do: if he was our high end, basically, for some time, Id imagine that will continue. Let's hope the coaches don't punish us as much.

HE dropped us 5 spots in his ballot ya. but to still be ranked #7 after this week will be a great thing.

Anyone who thinks being ranked 7th is unfair is delusional.

Anyone who thinks being ranked 7th is unfair is delusional. and most voters are delusional in very biased ways. thats just how college sports is. what im saying is that we should feel lucky to be in the top10. i believe we are a top5 team at worst. but voters dont like it when "small" teams get this high up. its like the bcs.

in his ballot ya. but to still be ranked #7 after this week will be a great thing. well if every other voter follows suit (drops us 5 spots), look for us to be lower than 7th. Although 7th is where I think we'll end up. Maybe 8th.

Anyone who thinks being ranked 7th is unfair is delusional. I beg to differ. How can he put a 4 loss Notre Dame ahead of a 1 loss SDSU? Pure bias, that's how. There are only two 1 loss teams...our only loss was to the #9 team in the nation at their house and they put all those other teams ahead of us who lost on their own home court, have more losses than us, have a worse RPI than us, haven't played as many road games as us...on and on and on. Bias. We are the number 2 or 3 team in the nation right now. Not #7.

We are not a "small" conference school (I know you are not saying that we are, just that voters perceive the MWC as a small conference). Out of the 32 conferences that make up college basketball the MWC has the 4th strongest RPI. That puts us ahead of the ACC and the Pac 10. This is a tough conference and SDSU is a tough team with the #3 RPI in the nation.

What the hell happened to Syracuse? They got hit by a truck and not only that. After the truck hit them, the driver slammed it into reverse and back up over them.

Especially when it's a "no name" school that is doing it. Anyways all we can do is win our games, what our ranking is now won't matter by the end of the season.

Anyone who thinks being ranked 7th is unfair is delusional. I agree. I anticipated us falling out of the top ten after the loss to bYu. However, combine the fall out of the numerous top ten losses and our huge win over Wyo I think we may fall somewhere between 9-7. Which is ok, I would like more respect. If we stay in the top ten I will stick with the game plan of win and screw the east coast polls.

Doesn't seem that bad to me. I will be happy with only dropping a few spots. We are #2 or #3 in the nation? Is it at all possible that WE are slightly biased? There are other pretty talented teams out there, jmo.

#7 isn't unreasonable for us, but UCONN #3 and Notre Dame #5 is a joke. I would probably have ND around #9 or #10 and UCONN right behind us.

The Aztecs have only lost on the road to a top ten ranked team at elevation against proven cheating. The east coast schools like UC Onn, Notta Damn etc. have lost AT HOME TO UN-RANKED, over-hyped, cheesehead teams.
DUH.
