I would like to say "Welcome to the Mesa!", too. However, we may have to wait for a confirmation.

I'll await confirmation also, I've been checking Twitter, nothing yet.
He's one of the Bay Area's top players but given a 2-3 star rating. Seems to have more upside and will benefit from getting time with the strength coach. I'd assume his weight is probably baby fat which will burn off and be replaced with more muscle. At this point, the pundits think he'll be better at guard than tackle. I'd give him time to grow more into his body to determine his true position on the line. I haven't seen much info on his 40 yard time or how quick his feet are.
Oldie Out

he has zero offers per Rivals and Scout. If he's coming he's probably a walk-on or preferred walk-on.

he has zero offers per Rivals and Scout. If he's coming he's probably a walk-on or preferred walk-on. Or possibly just coming as a student. Every year there are a bunch of players listed as going to SDSU from the Spanos All Star game, but not for football.

he has zero offers per Rivals and Scout. If he's coming he's probably a walk-on or preferred walk-on. Remember, recruiting sites like Rivals and Scout rely on three sources to find out who has made any offers to any of the recruits. These are the recruits, the family of the recruits and the recruits high school (or in the case o basketball their club) coaches. If any or all feel that is private information, then Rivals/Scout have no information to list as to who else is recruiting or offering a scholarship to any recruit. So John's test of "Who else has offered?" is not always a valid test if the player, his family and/or his coach does not feel it is any of our business.
