McQuervo,
Gotta love your optimism. If we're 4-0 after Michigan on 9/24, we should be favored in every game except maybe Boise. 13-0 is not out of the question. I'm betting the Boise game will be scheduled for 11/26 which could be an epic game.

I've got road losses to CSU and AFA, and home losses to Boise and TCU. Unfortunately, that makes it all losses coming in-conference, so no MWC crown this year.
Everything else is a win and probably another Poinsettia Bowl appearance. A second consecutive regular season of 8-4 ain't bad! Esp. coming under a new regime.

I certainly do not think we will lose to AFA AND CSU. Depends on how good we are, sure. If the team is as good as this past year, no way do we lose to both. Maybe not to either. If the team is better, I'm thinking 9-3 regular season. Or maybe even better. Eight wins should be a minimum if the program has indeed turned the corner. (We are very fortunate to have had Rocky Long to turn to, my friends!) AzWm

My take:
Home Games:
Boise - L TCU -L Fresno - W Washington State - W Wyoming - W New Mexico - W Cal Poly - W
Away:
Army - W Michigan - L CSU - W* UNLV - W AFA - L*
Bowl Game: We go back to the P-Bowl and Lindley has a career night in his last game as an Aztec
* - Between @afa and @csu, I say we lose one of the 2, but which one I'm not not sure.
Final record: 9-4

FWIW UNM won nine games in Franchione's first year and then just three in Rocky's first season.
I don't see that happening at SDSU. Just sayin'.

I'll refrain from making my prediction until I see who our OL coach is and what our receivers look like in spring ball.

The Michigan game looks like the key game of the year. If we get by Hoke's hedgehogs, the sky is the limit. If we win that game, I'm guessing 12-1 with only a loss to the Broncos.

WE might stumble early if our wr are not in full synch but by midseason we should be studs. 12-1.

WE might stumble early if our wr are not in full synch but by midseason we should be studs. 12-1. As K5J alluded to... I am more concerned about the OL than WRs. I'm content that we'll be okay at receiver... esp. as long as the OL opens up big holes for Ronnie & does a good job protecting Ryan. If Lindley has time, and a great running game keeping the defense honest, I think he could pick apart most secondaries with you as SE and me at FL. Of course, in that scenario... he'd just throw to his outstanding TEs every pass play...

However, Lindley will need to play much more consistently than last year to make up for the inexperience of the WRs. I'm a Lindley fan and I believe he will rise to the challenge as the unquestioned senior leader.

I went with 10-3. We will beat TCU or Boise at home. Now if we beat Michigan on the road, look for us maybe to only have one loss on the season.

8-5, but I want to see how the incoming freshmen look before I make that my final answer.
Aztec running backs are going to be stellar.
