Congrats on a very good team. Best team, football or basketball that i've ever seen at SDSU. I hope you guys are undefeated rest of the year (other than vs BYU), and have a deep tourney run. IMO, your team is suited for success in March. Very, very tough frontline, and offensive rebounding was spectactular. I'm very interested to see the game at SDSU, and see how it plays out. btw, I think Kawhi Leonard is one of the best mwc players i've seen.
I personally am disappointed that the BYU / SDSU playing days are ending, as i feel like the rivalry is strong, and getting stronger.

Funny you should mention "success in March:" One of the more underrated and understated benefits of a game like last night's--and this goes for BOTH teams--is that not only did it play out like a heavyweight slugfest, but the way it was officiated is pretty close to what they're likely to see in March. It was physical and grinding, and the refs did a pretty good job of letting them play. I think it was REALLY good for both teams to get that kind of experience under their belts.

Thanks for posting something positive Cougarfan. We have a few visitors to our board who are sane and classy BYU fans.
We ran into a buzzsaw last night and couldn't get it together. Advantage to BYU. We can't wait to return the favor at our place where we will hold serve.
The clincher will be the MWC tournament final.
Then, I believe that both will make a run in the NCAA tournament.
Maybe we'll meet again there too?
