BYU cheerleaders can't dance like ours can. Wouldn't that be a sin if they did?

We wore our Aztec gear last night, I gotta say BYU fans for the most part were respectable. A kid about 12 years old walked backwards in front of me screaming, “Aztecs suck,” his dad said, “Son we don’t talk like that.” I thanked the dad and moved on. After the game a Cougar gave me a friendly slap on the shoulder saying, “Good game and have a safe trip home,” I thanked him. Followed by another Cougar yelling in my face words I could not understand but I was rescued by a giant of a man in BYU gear saying, “Forgive my friend and thank you for coming.” They have nuts cases like any school but overall we felt comfortable, safe and welcome.
They are loud. The BYU student section made more noise than “The Show” but they lack imagination and loud became boring.
Jimmer is an incredible athlete, he made indefensible shots but my god the kid needs to find some sunshine. He’s so white it was difficult to tell where his unie began or ended.
I’m kinda big on studying faces, without singling out an Aztec our facial expression did not (warm-ups) instill confidence. As the game progressed (2nd half) lack of confident facial expression turned to anger and frustration. In my opinion, we beat ourselves.
The return 10 hour drive ended with a shower, there’s just something about Provo that made me feel unclean, however I’m glad we made the effort but if I never see Provo again, nothing lost.
C’ya Saturday. Go Aztecs.

Last night was a disappointment and a bit of a setback, but it was still a good game for 35 minutes. The altitude did 'em in at that point. MWC really sucks for that reason (among others).
However, a 20-win season with games left to play in JANUARY is nothing to be sorry about.
