Damm! I was looking forward to driving over in my RV with Aztec flags and watch Aztecs beat down Boise on the blue field. Looks like Vegas will be my road trip this year besides a couple home games. ANDY

A gift to us and a final FU to TCU for leaving the conference. All in all, I like the decision.

Whoa!
Losing the two Prima Donnas from the conference may have the positive result of having our season schedule published by the end of January rather than sometime in March!

What makes you think that?

They now know the dates and locations of the games, just the times to be determined. Last year that information was not released until the end of February.

Do you mean the conference has made the determinations and just has not made it public? Usually the schools get to lobby for dates during the winter months and then the conf. wades through it settles on a schedule, not released until March, late March last year. If you know this information, please share.

Very nice. That should get us 7 wins. No excuse for losing a home game. And if Rocky Long loses to Cal Poly, I want him fired that night.

Pretty interesting last paragraph. Hindsight is 20/20, but I would wager that anyone outisde of CL who was interviewed in 2005 would have performed better. It is irrelevant at this point though.

I am struck by Dr. Weber's class. It sounds like he and Brady had an honest and open conversation before he was hired. Dr. Weber clearly understood his goals, and as a University President should he supported them. As noted, unfortunately (in a way) it happened a lot sooner than either Dr. Weber or Brady Hoke thought. I think most of us would like to have a "boss" like that. Nice touch.
