He must be delighted with this feedback. Not one of us has mentioned any of his complaints.

... the team's lack of conditioning really showed tonight. Fish needs to run those guys harder if you want to have a run in the tourney as I bet you end up in the Denver opening round. A couple of things. There's nothing wrong with the team's conditioning. We do fine at home and are perfectly capable of reeling off 10-point runs in no time flat. It's the altitude. A sea level hoops team playing road games in this conference is crazy. You could see the team run out of gas with about 10 minutes left in the game. Our legs were gone and our shots were off. As for playing in Denver, that doesn't much matter -- and might even help -- as we'll likely play another sea level team from the East Coast that's never played at altitude. Two sea level teams a mile high -- no advantage for either. Now, some feedback to the message board posters here, that come visit the BYU boards and that post on the MWC board. Grow up - quit acting like BYU has: - Paid the refs - Rigged the instant replay - Cheated in whatever other way that you want to infer It's ludicrous. The folks that I run into on campus that know I'm a BYU grad/fan run their mouths about the 'cheaters' as well. So it's not just an internet message board thing. Delusional. Well, if BYU doesn't want that reputation then they shouldn't have two paid staffers running the official replays at the football games. Sorry, but that stunk to high heaven, and was, in fact, cheating. No way to spin that one. Also, did you see the hoops game at Provo two years ago? Spain went up for a five-foot game winning jumper in the key with 8 seconds remaining and Plaisted hammered him in the face and knocked him to the ground. No ball contact, just a big mitt to the face. Then Billy White chases the ball down and gets rolled up on from behind by a BYU player (forget the guy's name for the moment. he's the dude with the bad haircut and big ears.) If it were football, they'd have thrown a flag for clipping. So two blatant fouls and no whistles. WTF? Having said all that, tonight's game was well-officiated. Refs did a great job. I've got no complaints. I for one would love to see SDSU keep playing BYU. Being on campus and in the SD area, I'd love to see BYU more (and I think it would do great things for the gate receipts @ games). Again - total respect to the team & Fish. Awesome game plan, just poor execution and poor conditioning. Now... I'll have to put up with the crap from those on campus about how BYU cheated by paying the refs tonight... ugh. You won't hear a single person complain about the refs. Jimmer played unreal. Dude is POY nationally. No question, in my mind. Finally, save your lectures for class. They probably come off less pompous.

I responded to his "cheating" comments by inferring that, where there is smoke, there's fire. This fan base is not the only one that thinks this way. Not even close.
Man, the BYU holier-than-thou stuff just never stops.

...I love the replays of the calls supposedly committed by the Aztecs on Fredette. Oh,wait. There wasn't any -- NOT ONE by CBS! On the other hand the goaltending call on his shot sure warranted replaying. Why is that?

You seem to be relatively well informed and your post was both thoughtful and thorough. That being said, i still hate BYU. haha

Oh,it was.I'm just pointing out the double standard that existed. Again, did you see ANY of the calls against the Aztecs with such "controversy"? So you see nothing wrong with a player such as Fredette lunging into a player and getting the call in his favor? Nothing?

Concur. But I take exception to No. 5. Anyone who takes potshots at Taylor Swift is OK in my book.

As a BYU grad, a tremendous BYU sports fan, and a visiting lecturer @ SDSU, I have to give a ton of props to the SDSU hoops team. The fact that so many posters on here state "we're so glad we don't have to play them anymore." Well, I guess that's obvious when all you can do is lose against the cougars. If you want your sports teams to do better, then play a tough schedule. Toughen up and keep improving. If you really think the Big 12 is going to extend an invite to SDSU, you think they're going to even look at an athletic program that can't even beat the sucky cougars? If all you want to do is keep the status quo, then celebrate that this is the last season you'll play the cougars. Your RPI will reflect playing down to the remnants of the MWC. I for one would love to see SDSU keep playing BYU. Being on campus and in the SD area, I'd love to see BYU more (and I think it would do great things for the gate receipts @ games). Again - total respect to the team & Fish. Awesome game plan, just poor execution and poor conditioning. Now... It was so nice being live and in person at the 2009 MWC tourney when we kicked the Cougs right out!! And of course, won it last year.....but hey......we always lose to the Cougs huh? BS!

Listen dude, as a fellow LDS I recommend you not stroll in here with your sanctimonious better than thou attitude and tell another team's fan board what they should and should not do.
As you recall, we beat you in tournament play last year and won the MWC.
You have a very good player in Fredette. But strolling around like your team is God's gift to basketball when the rest of your "unconditioned" boys combined score is less than one player shows that when Fredette leaves you'll be another also ran.
And when a BCS sports writer doesn't even count the BYU football win over the Aztecs because of the ref shenanigans, maybe you ought to reevaluate who is being delusional.
Now go back to the Cougar eat, have a milkshake and stay off our board.

That was a heck of a ballgame. I applaud SDSU for their effort. It was a great game, and I hope SDSU finishes the regular season strong and get the 2 seed they deserve. I also hope they follow it up with a deep run in the Dance.
Good luck to SDSU the rest of the way! Hopefully when we meet up next month, both of us will enter the game with 1 loss and both ranked in the top 5-7 in the country. That would make for another phenomenal matchup.
It is awesome that a BYU-SDSU matchup was must see TV tonight. Both teams deserve the attention they are getting.
Once again, I apologize for the BYU fan that started this thread. If he is a BYU fan, I am very disappointed. But let's be honest, every fan base has idiots. But I wish people like that would just keep their mouths shut, rather than demonstrate their need to prove their own idiocy.

I hate then when I tell you that you're a douche, you'll use it as fuel to show how small minded I am...so I WONT call you a douche, or anything of the sort...and your superior attitude WONT bother me...or the fact that you know by nature that BYU cuts corners in everything, then hides behind rules yet claims 'it is what it is' when coming to 28 year olds acting like freshmen...truely the worst university, and traveling salesmen in the history of man kind.. I have to disagree with you there. The beak-brains have a firm grasp on that title.
