Sounds like the whole situation is one that needed to change. I believe if he came to SDSU, he would find a good mentor in Coach Fisher and have a chance to right the ship. I hope he becomes an Aztec.

Head case # 1 at USC is the Head Coach. He will be CANNED at end of this year or one more year max. Dude was known as a head case in AZ and now has quickly validated that rep with players at USC.
Again, LOVE to see Bryce Jones realize his potential at SDSU with a coaching staff that is class act.

He could be the best transfer we've had here, by the time he is done. If Fisher wants him, lets get him.

So what does everyone's choice have to do with me? If someone is foolish enough to take message board postings as fact, then that is their own fault. Not mine. Don't take it personally, bekays. I play in a rec league with a couple of guys who played for NAIA teams. Also, I have two friends who are D-1 assistant coaches. Used to have a friend who was a D-1 head coach, but he got fired.

However, none of those guys came on this message board and claimed that Bryce Jones was going to transfer to SDSU and it was a done deal. The point I was trying to make is that most of the times in these situations there is so much going on that its never a done deal until he enrolls in school.

With due respect morphius, everyone knows it's not a done deal until the teenager signs and enrolls. It was true with Mustafa Jalil and it's true with Bryce Jones. bekays' said it was a "done deal" because I'm sure that's the information provided to him. No one was fooled by the term "done deal", so maybe give bekays a break and be grateful for the inside information.

Anyone else cringe and roll their eyes whenever someone refers to an athlete as "well-spoken?" I'm just saying... chris rock: speaks so well, speaks so well

I hear Mr. Jones has been seen around campus lately. Interesting. I had heard that he was planning on finishing his semester at USC. Maybe he was just here to look around?

How was Burns a big mistake? He played well for one year, toed the line and then got injured and couldn't play anymore. Only Habel and the left-handed PG from Missouri whose name I can't never remember were a problem. Burns had a horrible work ethic and an undeserved sense of entitlement. Even before he got injured he spent more time ditching class, getting high and eating fast food .. than working on his game or his grades. Burns was rated ahead of Carmelo Anthony coming out of high school but never worked hard enough. Yeah, but watching him play for the Aztecs was an absolute pleasure. He may not have reached his potential, which is a shame, but he was a special talent and he gave us some truly memorable games. I was devastated when I heard he was gone. It was back in the time that people believed in curses.

I cringe when someone says, "I'm just saying". This. I'm so sick of that phrase. It made me half-chuckle the first time I read it. That's it. Kill it please. It's funny. I'm kind of bored of seeing "This" and "+1" but I just pass over it as "LOL" "OMG" "BFF" and "BFD"
