The kabosh was put on the previous "Running Monty" t-shirt, but don't fret. Here's their latest Aztecs inspired t-shirt: www.thebxstore.bigcartel.com/product/san-diegan-redThose of you who ordered the last t-shirt I posted know it's the best quality, with the best independent designs in town. As usual, FREE shipping anywhere in the continental U.S. There are also Padres inspired and Chargers inspired gear too, so make it your one-stop shop. If you're local, you could probably pick up too. Kids sizes are coming too, so that you and your little ones can represent your Aztecs pride together.

IN any event, other than being red and black, how is that an Aztec Shirt?

How is that "Aztec Inspired"?

How is that "Aztec Inspired"? It's Aztecs inspired because of the colors. I know it's not much, but it's still head-over-heels better than other independent tees I've seen on here. It was already an existing t-shirt design with different colors, but he changed it to red and black and 1969. I'm sure he'll come up with different designs that will relate to Aztecs even more, without using any existing logos, etc.

But he did change the year specifically for the Aztecs colors. 1969 is the year they won the Pasadena Bowl. It's also the year that San Diego State made the jump to Div-I football. Those are just a couple of my guesses.

Hard to miss with Preston Sporting on Cox4. I thought I read about this on another thread. What exactly are you talking about? Andrew Preston? Preston King? Were they wearing the banned "Running Monty" t-shirt during an interview or something? I talked to the creator, and he said SDSU/Aztec Shops cited the AztecMesa as a source.

I ordered one of these on Jan 16th but still have not received it. Other than the paypal payment confirmation. I have not gotten any confirmation of the order or shipping info. Any idea on how long I should expect?

AztecJames,
Don't worry. Since these are custom shirts, he makes an educated guess on how many shirts to print for each size. Part of that is how many orders he's getting for each.
I believe they went to print this week. I'll confirm today, and post later.
I ordered as well, and am among those waiting.

I agree it is not really an Aztec shirt. But it has the right colors and I think it is a pretty cool shirt. As a long time San Diegan, I love the shirt. I ordered one. And it stays right in the drawer next to my Aztecs Bombaye shirt.
To each his own.

Seriously?! I've never read a board of complainers more than the posters on this board. Just be happy that there is an alternative for gear because of what the Aztecs are doing nowadays.
