The Left is going to scream bloody murder when criticized like that, but they are going to have to deal seriously with the strong arm tactics mentioned in this piece if they are to be taken seriously.
The difference between how the nation got its news and information in 1970 compared to today is stark. With talk radio, the Internet, cable news, etc., it's more and more difficult to cover up some of these incidents, though the left-leaning media seem to be trying to do so by ignoring them.
If incidents such as the SEIU gang besieging the home of a BoA lawyer get repeated often enough, I can tell you what is going to happen. Someday the guy being besieged is going to be home. If the police fail to respond, and assuming that he is an avid target shooter or hunter, the guy is going to break out his rifles and start shooting. When he is done, ten or fifteen of the protesters are going to need body bags.
I hope that horrible outcome is not what the organizers of the protests secretly have in mind. Nothing like a few dead martyrs to energize the troops!
This sort of thing is a very, very dangerous tactic. If it does not stop soon, we are going to have serious blood in the streets. Oh, yes, here is a question. Are there right wing or conservative gangs doing this sort of stuff? You might cite the anti-abortion protestors, but otherwise I doubt you can find any examples.
We have freedom of speech and that is a basic American right. However, it's clear, to me at least, that there are those who wish to use intimidation to get their way rather than logical persuasion. That kind finds the concept of freedom of speech quite handy, especially if they are dealing with law enforcement that is not interested in protecting the rights of citizens being subjected to physical threats and intimidation.

Yes I agree we can't just ignore the past. But the comparisons today are just rhetoric with not much basis in my opinion. As evil as you think Obama is he isn't doing anything worse then any other president before him.
Alright, now bring on the outcry.
I really need to stay off the political board but I find it all very amusing.

I agree that trying to equate anyone to Nazi Germany is in bad taste. It is better to lay out just what is happening without the drama of bringing in Hitler. Do you mean "kookie" or "cookie"? Cooky does not seem to be a word.  |
