its been apparent for a long time that Craig desires a position working for the NCAA. all of his moves have been to placate the establishment..he has done little to help the MWC. Gains such as helping to obtain a non voting, no auto qualifying BCS seat would have happened anyways. He has done nothing for San Diego State, lets hope the critical next 5 years are an improvement over his short sightedness.

We don't know the value of the fox sports deal yet, but, they are leaving everyone's favorite espn and it looks like they are going to get about the same per team as the MWC got 3-4 years later. So they'll get 20 football games on, a little over one a week, and a basketball game under once a week on there.
This is not a mind blowing deal. But i'm sure someone other than the Hair could have pulle out a magic wand and get a blockbuster deal for thE MWC

Hmm, this means that CUSA kicked ESPN to the curb. They are still tied with CBS and nothing with the excess inventory after those broadcast partners. So this would not affect any effort for a JV with CUSA on those inventory items.
Why do people hate so much?

William,
Why not just delete the whole F'n thread if you're going to place it into purgatory...one of your non-read sub-forums?
A conference that we have had numerous high level meetings with about joint ventures (including tv)...just signed a new tv contract without us.
It's relevent to Aztec fans that care about our tv package.
Whatever...this topic now doesn't exist.

So what you're saying is that it wouldn't make any sense for CUSA to sign this TV deal if their were to be some sort of merger between CUSA and the MWC. Damn

Damn Actually only saying one thing...don't have a clue about any of this. I'm saying the topic is relevent to Aztec fans because of our terrible tv contract...our talks with CUSA...and wondering how this affects both of those things. Dang
