Some of the best comments on an article I've ever read! Well, except for the one that criticizes another commentator for saying Greg Robinson shouldn't be on the list because he makes "only" $270K. Two hundred and seventy thousand dollars for being a complete dolt? Are you kidding me?

Greg Robinson has often struck me as one of the most incompetent coaches in the country to continually get a good gig. Remember him in Kansas City? As head coach at Syracuse also? The man must interview well.

Chow doesn't recruit or get to run his stuff, I guess UCLA is paying his great assistant pension

UCLA is paying Chow to keep him from going to some Pac 10 team, that is the way I see it.

Statistically, is Chuck Long our worst-coach-ever?
I know he's up there with the worst-of-the-worst but wasn't there someone else with an even more lopsided win/loss percentage ?

Norm Chow is an excellent QB tutor, and a bright offensive mind. He proved that as previous stops at BYU and USC.
It's just not working out at UCLA, and Slick Rick, after consulting with Nevada's Chris Ault on the "pistol", imposed it on Chow.
At this point, I don't see why they keep him? The marriage isn't working out, for whatever reason. They need to split.

Someone did worse than .250? That guy must have been a hell of a s#!++y coach Just Jon Eubank, who coached only during the first football season of WWI in 1942 and finished 0-6-1. Then the next worst was Bob Brietbard, who also coached just one season, 1945, which was the first football season after WWII ended, and his percentage was .286. Other than Chuck, the worst multi-season percentage was Paul Governalli at .310. Then the NEXT worst was Tom Craft at .396. Them's the facts, Jack.
