Pryor can just bolt to the NFL. Pretty worthless. The other guys are pretty key players though.

Pryor is not ready for the NFL at all. Agreed. However, if he has to sit out five games next year, by coming back he would get at most another eight games of seasoning. Not just that but the seasoning he will get won't make him all that much better prepared for the NFL since he isn't being used by OSU as a pure pocket passer anyway. Further, if OSU AD is to be believed, the players did what they did as a means of helping out their families financially. So I suspect Pryor has one more game as a Buckeye.

I don't see how it is anyones business but theirs if they want to sell their memorabilia.
The NCAA and the University makes millions of dollars off these kids, but the athlete can't make a few grand by selling a jersey.

Pryor isn't an NFL QB right now. Doesn't mean he won't go, but I would bet more NFL teams like his potential as a WR, than a QB. Makes way too many "what the f x x x " throws, leadership questions, etc.
Posey is a good deep threat but not polished at all.
Not sure on Dan Herron yet. He could benefit from more time in Columbus.

sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/andy_staples/12/23/ohio-state-suspensions-nfl/index.html?eref=sihpArticle suggesting why they should go pro. Basically, you got suspended because the NCAA doesn't want you infringing upon your school's ability to make money on your backs. Click on the fan shop link on the official Ohio State football Web site. There, you'll find dozens of authentic, game-worn football jerseys for sale at $300 a pop. Shame on you for diluting the inventory and for providing such in-demand items as that sportsmanship award and Terrelle's "gold pants."

Thought the suspension was a little long, think it is absurd that it doesn't start until next year. I don't think they should be able to sell their things because that creates a way to money launder: boosters will just have a legal way to get around paying players, of course at Auburn that is already legal according to the NCAA.

As I said above, I can't see any reason for Pryor to return for his senior year unless Ohio State figured to have a good shot at the NC. And since OSU loses seven starters from their defense, the Buckeyes can't reasonably be said to have a shot at the NC.

What I found interesting about this whole situation was Ohio State's Athletic Director Cane Smith's response.
What we have is a situation where five Ohio State players claimed they were un-aware of the rules in trading awards given to them to a tattoo shop for tattoos. Cane Smith's response was that he was totally in favor of the NCAA relaxing rules on giving stipends to the student athletes so they can help their financially strapped families out.
Huh?
