appreciate the write up
was there an article that SDSU was hoping to add some additional defensive players from the Portal - if so at what positions ? Did see they added a LB and RB
If you had to guess today what would you think the starters would be on both sides of the ball or a two deep depth chart

Do not care what scheme you have it all boils down to how do you get the best players on the field and it always starts with the Line play -
During the last couple of years SDSU has not had a good DL - and when you do not have that the other players get out played -
Does SDSU have a decent front 4 to set the tone of the defense if not then there are going to be problems for the back 5
Sure hope the new DC has learned enough at UW to help create a solid defense

Did see they added a LB and RB If you had to guess today what would you think the starters would be on both sides of the ball or a two deep depth chart Not going to get into the depth chart, but when spoke to Lewis on Monday, he said he felt good about all the positions except the offensive and defensive lines. Wanted to add 4 to 5 more at those spots. Has brought in a pair of tackles already. We'll see where it goes from here. |

very similar to the last few years have to improve the DL and OL for the skill players to do well
