...this has been a fun and satisfying season of Aztecs basketball!
Hitting the Sweet 16 after last year's great run is fantastic. Sure, we lost a couple games we shouldn't have, but it's still been a really good season with a great ending.

Sure, we lost a couple games we shouldn't have, but it's still been a really good season with a great ending. A happy ending, one might say. And lord knows, we could all use more of those. |

The biggest think we had to accomplish for the program overall was to not make it seem like the 2023 tournament run was a fluke. Lose the first game and that's what people would think, especially since we're not in a power conference. Get to the Sweet 16 and you're legit, no matter what else happens. So that's two straight years, on top of several years of at least making it to the dance. It's why Gonzaga is thought of so highly. As Fisher would say, "We have a program."

In addition, I don't care that we lost the MW conference. Sweet 16 I so much better. I do think I heard a few commentators mention we were the Champions of the MGC a couple of times throughout the weekend. Even if it wasn't true, that was what was said. Maybe perception is better than actual results. I don't mind anyone giving us more accolades. |

Last one standingIf it can only be one, No. 3 is the best! |

I hope that will help Waters and Parrish. Let it fly, with the least amount of pressure you can feel. At the same time, stay focused with the task at hand. I'm fired up!!! |

I think he should start a few new guys like Byrd and Heide to get UConn thinking. Just for the first few mins. Byrd on defense and Heide trying to get a quick foul on their big. |

Miami didn't even make the Tournament and FAU didn't survive the first round. 52 teams that made the Tournament didn't survive this long. I strongly want us to win tomorrow, but I won't be disappointed in this season.

I didn’t think the Sweet 16 was possible based on our play to end the regular season. We played better and got some matchups in our favor. Sweet 16 is awesome.
I hope they come out like they did against Yale because I just want a good game on Thursday and not a Utah State butt kicking.

I thought they would win the first game, but most likely lose to Auburn. We would have beaten Yale OR Auburn on that day. We were on fire!!! |
