Unfortunately it isn't all that surprising.

Unfortunately it isn't all that surprising. Feel free to explain The school chased off a winning coach because their visions didn't align. It's complicated, but I feel comfortable saying the school is in the wrong. The kids end up being hurt by it and now nearly a dozen players have transferred already. One of my former players I coached went there after his sophomore season, he's crushed.

This is puzzling, how do you hire someone whose vision does not align with yours? Do you not clearly explain these are the parameters you must operate within to exist at this school? So did the admin fail to make that clear, or did the coach tell them what they wanted to hear during the hiring process?

All I do know is the school failed their duty to the players.

Another problem with a cold hire is the new hire, especially if it is a football coach with a huge ego, will want to change the environment to fit their system. That can ruffle feathers. Administrators also want to look good, if a coach or any other faculty member doesn’t make that happen, the desk with the pink termination slips is very close. Doing an outside hire is usually a success or bust proposition.

There was nothing Gladnick had done that would have warranted a firing in my opinion.
