Got my invoice for my '24 season ticket renewal today.
A roughly 14% increase from this season, and a roughly 30% increase from the '22 season.
$1465 for 41 games in 2022, versus $1902 for the same 41 game plan next season.
The Padres have a waiting list for tickets, so it looks like that waiting list will shrink by 1 for next season.
The cost has gone from $35.73/game in 2022 to $46.39/game in 2024.
I'm done.

Sorry to hear it. It's a pretty common increase. Other friends that I sit near have had their seats go up even more. It looks like it's back to some sort of mini-season plan with the Storm.

Yeah, I mean it was pretty apparent prices were going up and tickets here are still way more affordable than other parks, but I understand. I have friends in the Coronado Club who are going to pay six figures for their seats now.

Hopefully you got to be there in person for games 3/4 of the Dodger series last year. Sad to say, that unless there are some big changes (*cough* AJ *cough*), that will probably be the Petco apex for some time.

My record is intact of never having gone to ANY playoff games in Petco Park. Sold my playoff seat to a friend last season (for face value), and we made a choice to not get playoff tickets in '05 and '06.

Not a great deal of desire to be there in person, versus sitting at home or at a sports bar with friends. Division series games were $107 each, NLCS games were $169 each, and I believe WS games were over $300 (had we made it). I would probably have gone to WS games, but that would have been it.

Won’t need to worry about post-season prices this year…
