His name was brought up last week in the recruiting section : Portal 23 MBB
A high level transfer that most top schools are going after
Little doubt the coaches have put in an inquiry to see if he has any interest in SDSU - as it is for all transfers They decide who They want to talk to
the other 5 that is leaving Kansas I think is scheduling a visit to SDSU on May 28 after he goes to 3 other schools

The departure has been expected for weeks, with the Wolfpack landing post players Mohamed Diarra from Missouri and Ben Middlebrooks from Clemson. Rivals.com ranked Miranda the No. 30 overall player in the country in the class of 2022 and narrowed his list to UCLA, USC, Oregon, Rhode Island, Louisville, Georgetown, Connecticut, and Texas, before committing to NC State. The Kentucky Wildcats is eyeing 7'1" Isaiah Miranda, who has entered the transfer portal after redshirting this past season with NC State. They need front court players.

From HBCU GameDay: hbcugameday.com/2023/03/07/grambling-state-athletes-arrested-accused-of-invading-dorm-with-gun/"Carte’are Gordon was one of four student-athletes at GSU recently arrested in connection with a campus dorm room invasion. The other three students were affiliated with Grambling State football, according to a report by the Lincoln Parrish Journal. Sidney Franklin, Melvin Priestly, Derreion Hinton are accused, along with Gordon, of forcing their way into a residence hall and threatening the inhabitants with a pistol. The dispute was reportedly the result of a suspicion of stolen money, according to police affidavits. Two people in the residence hall were reportedly beaten and threatened with a semiautomatic hand weapon." Position: Forward 6-9, 240lb Hometown: St. Louis, MO High School: Webster Groves (MO) RSCI Top 100: 65 (2018) Schools: Saint Louis U, Northwest Florida State (Juco) and Grambling

Mohamed Keita 7'1 220 lb Freshman from St John's. He spent his HS senior season at The Winchendon School in Winchendon, Mass., averaging 6.3 PPG, 8.2 RPGs and 3.4 BPG. And he played with S.L.A.C. at the NBA’s Basketball Africa League… averaged 5.0 PPG on 71.4 percent shooting to go along with 4.3 RPG during the spring of 2022.
Played 7 games at St Johns, 3-3 FGs 0 Rebounds, 2 blocks and 5 fouls. Not much of a college resume. But has played in U19 & U17 World Cup + U18 Africa Championships with limited minutes. Still a project!

Olivier Nkamhoua, is at the NBA Combined who earned an invite after the G-League Elite Camp. Says he's in the mix to be drafted. Tennessee's Olivier Nkamhoua has impressive measurements from the G League Elite Camp: 6'8 1/4" without shoes, 7'0 1/4" wingspan, standing reach of 8'10 1/2", wide hands of 10 1/2", and weighs in at 229 lbs with only 5.7% body fat.
Spent 4 years at Tennessee, and started his last two seasons. Final Szn: 22/23 - 36 Games, 25 Min, 52% FG, 70% FT, 5 RPG, 2 APG, 11 PPG and I doubt he is coming back to NCAA basketball.
6'8 230 lb Forward from Helsinki, Finland.

Unfortunately those who have mentioned SDSU as a possibility have gone other places - have not heard about Jay Pal after his visit
Coug at one time or another did mention Aziz Bandago - but he is also highly rated and not sure if he would have to sit a year
In addition WSU's Adrama Diongue - he was from Chandler AZ HS
Ibrahim Diallo from San Jose State ?

This is getting out of control with every post moving away from SDSU recruits. Right now, what or who is connected to SDSU basketball recruiting? The Aztecs typically don't recruit in the press, and now with NIL payments and 1,750+ transfers in the portal, there's a lot to talk about. Stan asked about a number of Big Guy's statuses, so I answered him. But as far as the two Kansas big men in the portal, it looks like we're missing out on them as well.

Kansas State is a potential landing spot for KU basketball transfer Ernest Udeh Jr., He is visiting K-State, TCU, and Duke too.
Scouting Report:
“Has a tremendous physique at 6-10, including a 7-2 wing span. Is a quality athlete for a center, plays with energy and runs rim to rim. Excels at snatching and finishing lob passes. Is also a dangerous offensive rebounder with his pursuit of positioning and good hands. Not a polished offensive player. Has limited shooting range. Tends to play upright and needs to refine his footwork. Does have a go-to right handed jump hook. Not a ball handler and is mechanical in his passing but tends to make the correct read. Is a quality rim protector on defense. Is engaged on that end. Controls space as a rebounder.”

There are several recruits who are either linked to SDSU and/or have ties to the west coast or the MWC which would be 10x more relevant to talk about.
