There are some options here that I think we should consider.
1. William agrees to host us and he does that and hopefully he does for an extendended period of time (without the Cougar Blue forum colors)
2. Someone could volunteer, make a forum on proboards and like a Deist Clock Maker they create and walk-away: it would be self-regulated and people would have to use restraint and active ignoring with each other, but it also would not be at the whim of an individual
3. A diverse group of people become the moderators and hosts of a board
Am I missing any other options?
It is getting ridiculous how we have to jump ship because someone gets sick of doing it and then scurry onto the next tent city.
Aztectalk should be about aztec sports and not at the caprice of an individual - it is bigger than one person

If William is willing to host us, this forum is fine. Some folks might want the sub category of the forum changed up so talk about the Aztecs is at the top, but this is just fine with me.
I really appreciate William givings us "Wingnuts" a place to express our opinions.

No one has to go to any category they don't like, but everyone is interested in Aztec Sports. Welcome new-comers, and I hope William will agree!

No matter what anyone thinks of my time moderating the off-topic forum, I received a fair number of PMs supporting me in my attempts to keep politics out of it. And while it's obvious that I really enjoy arguing politics, I think AT was better off without them. Of course, that statement will most likely lead to Pooh attempting to offer me some lame troll, but I really do believe that most people on here would rather hit some other website if they want to argue politics. =Bob

These are good suggestions. Since AztecMesa appears to be the only game in town (well, for now at least! ) I will rearrange the order of the forums. (Sorry, I mean fora!) Yes, political posts belong in the political sections. Of course, there are political implications inherent in many sports topics, so the decision to keep a post in the sports section or move it to politics will have to be done on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to buzz me if you think I have not taken appropriate action in such cases. WLR

One of the more difficult things I had to deal with as the Off-Topic mod was figuring out how to deal with sports topics that had a political component. =Bob
