I know dealing with Insurance companies can be a pain but "DMVing" our healthcare in CA will not go well.

My health care plan - PRIVATE health care - just got unbelievably worse this year. It will likely cost me an extra $3k or $4k this year in additional fees, deductibles, and coinsurance.

I don't think our system is really doing any better. I'm putting off getting stuff checked out (stuff I should get checked out, and would have a year ago) because I don't have the money to pay for it. And I have far from the worst health care plan around. It's truly middle of the pack.
