Is there an SDSU connect here? Or are we just so desperate since Hoke ran off our future that we want a guy who lost his job then got lapped by a freshman…? Aren’t we looking to join the PAC soon? We want an equal’s third string quitter?
Oh, that’s right, we only call our own guys quitters.

If Haskell was truly our future QB he would have started this year. He wasn’t that promising. I’m not the only one who saw his flaws. They sure do need to bring in one experience guy though.

No, I wouldn't want either of them, especially Haskell who in 2 years couldn't understand the playbook or how to call a play in the huddle.

Maybe we could get him to play safety for us!

We should not take any transfer player who quits on his team. Don't need any cry babies, we want players who go all out and they are team players.

Our current starting QB left his Miss State team and entered the transfer portal in October 2019 I think... so was he also a quitter cry baby who we don't need? www.si.com/college/mississippistate/.amp/football/mayden-announces-new-team-121620

Would guess that the Aztecs inquire if he is even interested in SDSU
If not then the Aztecs move on
If he says maybe then the coaches can look into his background

I think we'll be in good shape with QB's next year and shouldn't need a transfer. Mayden will be a SR and Krum and Aumavae will both be RS Fr. All will have experience and knowledge of the offense. Plus we get another stud QB recruit freshman coming in. Let's save the scholarship for defense lineman. I think we could use it there. It will be interesting to see what the coaching staff does.

Doesn't Mayden have another year of eligibility? Mayden is listed as a senior, but has one more year due to an extra Covid year of eligibility? Would it be great if he comes back next year and has a solid year where he has a chance to try out for the NFL combine? BTW, Mayden picked Mississippi State out of high school over offers from Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee, Baylor, Kansas State, Minnesota, Utah, Nebraska, Virginia, North Carolina State, Oregon State, Syracuse, Illinois, UCF, USF, Houston, Louisville, Louisiana-Monroe, and Illinois State ... Also was recruited by Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M, Miami, TCU and Kansas.

Completely agree, we should have never taken Thames, Flynn, Wetzel, O'Brien or any of these terrible kids that just transferred this year. Or does this just apply to football.......my bad.
