The Left in general, and Barack Obama in particular, have long believed that the conservative view of the world is misguided and foolish, if not downright perverse. Well, we are now seeing an administration that is putting into practice the contrary view of what place in the world this country should occupy. Even the most ardent fan of "engagement" must surely admit, if only behind closed doors where no one can hear, that such a policy must eventually pay dividends or be replaced by another approach. Those who feel that Obama is succeeding must explain how his policies are helping the U.S. I confess I just can't see it. (Oh, yes, let me add that "Well, at least he's not like Bush,' while true, does not constitute proof that the current administration's foreign policy is succeeding.) www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2010/05/21/the_fruits_of_weakness_105676.htmlAzWm

I want to see what kind of leadership will emerge from the current crisis in Korea. This could really explode!
