Michel Baez was part of it last night and looked electric.

Dinelson Lame-T had another poor outing, blew the save, and allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 4/3 innings. Really not the direction he wants to be going right now… and in AA, too. Wow.

Honestly, I am more concerned about CJ Abrams, as he got off to a bad start in El Paso. But he's up over .260 now. Tonight in El Paso, it's your typical game--16-12 EP losing in the 7th. That's probably why they sent Lamet to San Antonio instead of El Paso long-term. Hopefully, Niebla can work wonders with him at some point.

Probably best to not analyze every single appearance, as rehab results aren't exactly the end goal.

I suppose he wouldn't be dominant if not sound. Or if his mechanics are out of whack. Or both. I just meant that results are really secondary on assignments like this. They want good health and a good mindset transitioning into a different role. The results will come, but he's really struggled to adjust to the bullpen thus far, mentally for the most part.

Fair enough.

The Missions are on the cusp of winning their division in the first half of the season.
Lake Elsinore has already clinched the first half title in the Cal League.
El Paso is 4 games back in the PCL (no split season in AAA).
And Ft Wayne...well, let's just say they won't qualify for the playoffs in the first half.

A little late, but there are some free streaming games coming up:
Thursday, 7:05 p.m. ET -- Great Lakes (LAD) at Fort Wayne (SD) Dodgers and Padres prospects square off on MLB.TV when the Loons pay a visit to the TinCaps. Taking center stage are a pair of young offensive stars. Catcher Diego Cartaya (Los Angeles' No. 1/MLB's No. 24) is two weeks into his time at High-A after being promoted from Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. On the other side, Padres outfielder Robert Hassell III (San Diego's No. 2/MLB's No. 30) has been one of the Midwest League's most impressive hitters so far this season, carrying a .317 average and .891 OPS into this series.
