Per ESPN.com and on TV.
Saw this coming. Dude looked like he was in over his head, and made some AWFUL personnel decisions, including throwing Peyton Hillis into the deal for Quinn (with draft picks).
Nobody else valued Quinn, and Hillis had averaged 5.0 YPC for Shanahan so you cant say he wasn't showing talent.

I remember last season when the Broncos won a game to start 5-0. He was jumping around like a little girl...just going nuts. He didn't look like a head coach. He was sooooo happy then. Fast forward to now. Now if the Colts would just fire Jim Caldwell all would be right with the world.

Well, who knows.
Dallas fired Wade, and it looks like the team is turning around.
Ask Peyton about it....

I'm not sure if McDaniels was responsible for personnel decisions, but here's how it played out: Cutler is traded to Chicago because McDaniels didn't like him. Denver got the better end of this deal - Orhton, the Bears' two first round picks, and a third rounder. In March 2010, Denver trades Peyton Hillis for Brady Quinn. LOL. Recall that in Cleveland Quinn was benched in favor of Derek Anderson - enough said. In April 2010, Denver uses one of its two first round on yet another QB in Tim Tebow, who everyone knows won't be ready for the NFL (if at all) for at least two more years. And don't forget the trash-talking incident with the Chargers in 2009. 32 years old is awfully young to be named an NFL head coach.

Can we trade them Norv for the two first round draft picks? I'd give the draft picks to someone to take him off our hands.

Can we trade them Norv for the two first round draft picks? I'd give the draft picks to someone to take him off our hands. We have many injuries, especially an injured basketball player who has been clutch for us as a Tight End for years. Now, all of a sudden, the head coach is a piece of Sheet? ?? Norv is very capable. The Chargers have tried to get it done with less than spectacular men in the trenches. Our O-line in particular has been a patchwork quilt. Sometimes presentable sometimes not. This is not the fault of the head coach. Director of player personnel might be at fault. Ya know.

Read Trotter on SI.com this morning. Of course, Bowlen was an idiot for giving him the keys to everything. Mid 30's, no experience in personnel.....DUMB.

Also, traded a 1st rounder to move up and get CB Alphonso Smith, and then trades him to Detroit a year later.
