The owners have a call at 6pm today to vote on this deal. Wouldn't it be hilarious if they don't get enough votes to pass it?

Free agency starts as soon as the CBA is ratified. Buckle up. Yeah, it would have indeed been comical, but they did approve it. While listening to Manfred just now (before I HAD to turn it off), he was commenting on how he hopes fans understood just how hard they had been working to get a deal done. BS, Rob. If that were indeed the case, ownership would not have waited 43 days before offering their first proposal to the MLBPA. It's great that this is done, but if Manfred is still the commissioner in 5 years, this crap will just be repeated. And who knows just what goofy rules Manfred will try to implement in the next few seasons.

Owners voted for him, re-elected him and he does their bidding very well.
